This week, I want to talk to you about Love because we are in February, and Love is often a normal topic to think and talk about.
I would like to invite you to look into your definition of Love. The one you have today maybe from your education and experiences, or ego-based mind experiences.
Is your definition of Love conditional?
Do you love conditionally?
Do you feel loved conditionally as well?
What I mean by this is loving if… xyz… is taken into account. or feel loved for… xyz… reasons, or if there are… xyz… conditions, making you believe that only with those reasons and conditions Love is present, otherwise it cannot be, it is not Love.
Love without ego is always perfect. Love is a deep feeling of affection emanating from the heart, the Soul.
Love is always perfect in itself. It cannot be imperfect, but it can be ego-imperfect.
Love is always perfect and when the ego interferes, it might not be Love but an ego-based Love. It can be easy to mix Love and all the ego-based emotions from what is happening, which can bring you to your definition of Love.
It is with the ego-conditions that we decide if the relationship is going well, if we love ourselves properly, if we love someone, if we love something. So, it is often when putting ego-conditions to Love, to the definition of Love, that we (finally) ego-realize we do not love, not love ourselves, not feel loved.
So today, I am inviting you to revisit and re-think your definition of Love.
See what it means to you. Write down what is Love for you.
- What is Love?
- How do you feel that you are loved?
- How do you love?
- When do you love, and when do you feel that you are loved, and when you do love yourself?
And then, remove all the conditions, and see what is left.
Is there anything left? Because if nothing is left, it means that you love (yourself) conditionally. You love others conditionally, and you feel loved conditionally.
So, I am inviting you to look and to redefine your definition of Love to one that feels more accurate and better and probably one that feels more spiritual, since it will come from your Soul, your Inner Self.
Take the time to do it. It is worth the exercise. Too often we go through life with ego-based definition of pretty much everything. It is good to take the time to take the time to see if they are still accurate according to our present moment knowledge and wisdom. When they are not, it might make us feel misaligned.
Remember to Breathe In, let go of your ego-based thoughts and vision, see from your Soul, and Love Out!
