You always have the choice to change your energy and the energy surrounding you… no matter what is going on around you. It might not be easy, and it might need a lot of practice and years. Yes! It is a work in progress. You own it to yourself to stop limiting your joy.
Reading these words means you have what it takes to shine light around you; you have a desire to have it better and see it better. Being the light is an Inner strength, and you get stronger by practicing being yourself regularly.
Instead of waiting for the others to change, the situation to change… be the change you want to see.
Allow yourself to be the light one step at a time. There are many ways to do this, like not allowing yourself anymore to participate into gossips and bickering; not allowing yourself to talk about negative things and news over and over, with every person you meet on your way to the coffee machine; catching yourself right before you were about to add fuel to an escalating negative conversation.
Do you see where I am going?
In not participating in daily and common situations, you will slowly start shining light because you will allow your Inner Self to slowly shine out by not blocking its light with your ego-based ways. You will slowly start seeing things differently, because you will not feed the same thoughts in your own mind, but also because with the light on, we can see much better.
Yes, there will be time when you will not be able to ignore someone waiting for an answer, and there will be time when you will have to also speak your truth no matter how negative it may be at first. Stay Authentic with yourself without over doing it. Do not pretend everything is okay, but do not start any fire either. Acknowledging those emotions to see what needs to be worked on is shining light on yourself. Remember, the only one that you can change is yourself so you also need some light on yourself.
The beautiful thing is that changing yourself will also change your environment, your friends and your habits.
Be the light and be wise.
I am inviting you to find a way to not engage into easy and automatic negative habits. Take the time to list them to know what they are. And meditate on how you can stop engaging without much effort, or how can you catch yourself when you do so.
Remember to Breathe in, let go of your ego-based thoughts and vision, see from your Soul and Love Out.
